Portable Document Format, popularly known as PDF documents, is a file format developed by Adobe Systems. It looks like a printed document and can be viewed in Adobe Reader, a free application from Adobe Systems itself. PDF files are especially useful for documents such as magazine articles, product brochures, or flyers in which you want to preserve the original graphic appearance.
Now PDF readers are available for smartphones as well. You can completely view and edit any PDF file if you are on the go. Adobe Reader is also officially available for all major mobile operating systems including Andriod, Windows Phone, iOS, Symbian etc. But if you are using a series 40 based phone(like a Nokia Asha phone), there are no efficient PDF readers available yet. Although there are apps like eZReader, mobilePDF, PDF Viewer, RJ PDF Reader etc available for download, these apps can’t load files greater than 1MB, also they dont even get opened in the new Nokia Asha Platform(they never worked for me). While surfing internet with our mobile, at some point of time, we might have encountered with a PDF file and wondered how to open it. Like the invoice we receive from Flipkart after a purchase or the phone’s user guide or a novel. So here are some tutorials on how to read PDF files in your phone apart from using a mobile PDF reader.
